This website

This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no third party scripts. The host serving the pages may keep standard request logs, such as your IP address and browser, under its own privacy policy.

The nyq tool

nyq has no telemetry and no account with us. It makes these network requests:

  • To the model provider you choose, carrying your conversation, the files and command output the agent reads, and your credentials for that provider.
  • To models.dev, at most once a day, for public model names, context sizes and prices.
  • To GitHub, to look for and download new releases. Turn this off with auto_upgrade = false or NYQ_AUTO_UPGRADE=0.
  • To web pages and search, only when the agent uses its web tools, and to MCP servers you configure.

What your model provider does with your data is set by its own terms and privacy policy.

Data on your machine

Sign ins and API keys are stored under ~/.nyq in files only your user can read. Conversations are saved as JSONL under ~/.nyq/sessions. nyq logout removes stored sign ins, and nyq session delete removes a conversation.
